Terms of Service

1. Who we are

The Grail Scope (“the Service”, “we”, “us”) is an independent market-intelligence tool for anime and collectible figures. We are not a marketplace, seller, reseller, or broker. We do not sell figures, hold inventory, or facilitate transactions between buyers and sellers. We aggregate publicly available listing data from third-party marketplaces (eBay, MyFigureCollection, Mandarake, AmiAmi, MercadoLibre, Tamashii Nations) and present derived statistics, estimates and alerts.

2. Nature of the data

Prices, medians, discounts, “SAVE %” values, release dates, match scores, arbitrage opportunities and every other metric shown by the Service are estimates based on third-party data. They are provided for informational purposes only and come with no warranty of accuracy, completeness, timeliness or fitness for any purpose. Third-party data may contain errors, outliers, bootleg listings, wrong matches, delayed updates, or missing entries. You are solely responsible for verifying any figure, price, condition, seller reputation or listing before making a purchase decision.

3. Account registration

To access certain features you must create an account with a valid email address. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your credentials confidential, and be responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum digital-consent age in your jurisdiction). One person, one account.

4. Subscriptions and payments

Some features require a paid subscription (Pro / VIP tiers). Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically at the interval selected at checkout until cancelled. You can cancel any time from your profile or the Stripe customer portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and no partial refunds are issued for unused time unless required by applicable law.

Right of withdrawal (EU/Spain). Under Art. 103(m) of the Spanish consumer law (TRLGDCU) and EU Directive 2011/83, digital content supplied immediately after purchase is exempt from the 14-day withdrawal right. By starting your subscription and accessing premium features immediately, you expressly request immediate performance and acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Scrape, mirror, resell or redistribute the Service’s data without written permission.
  • Use the Service to harass other users or third-party sellers.
  • Attempt to bypass paywalls, rate limits, authentication, or security features.
  • Use automated agents against the Service beyond reasonable personal use.
  • Upload illegal, infringing, or harmful content.

6. Intellectual property

The Service’s code, design, name, logo and compiled datasets are our property or licensed to us. Figure images are sourced from third parties and remain property of their respective rights holders; we display them under fair use / informational use and will remove any item on valid request.

7. Disclaimer and liability

The Service is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties (express or implied). We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or lost-profit damages, nor for any purchase decision made based on data shown by the Service. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under mandatory consumer law.

8. Third-party marketplaces

Outgoing links to eBay, Mandarake, AmiAmi, MercadoLibre etc. are provided as a convenience. We have no control over, and no responsibility for, the content, prices, shipping, counterfeits, fraud or disputes arising from transactions on those sites.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or the law. You may delete your account at any time from your profile page; residual backups are purged within 30 days.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app banner at least 15 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date means acceptance. The current version is identified by the date at the top of this page.

11. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Consumers retain the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of their habitual residence. Disputes shall be submitted to the courts of the consumer’s domicile, or, for non-consumer disputes, to the courts of Spain.
