State of the Collectibles Market 2026
Full transaction history since Q4 2025 across 7,000+ tracked figures and 18 universes. Where the market stands now — and where it's heading.
The Numbers
Snapshot of the full tracked catalog as of July 2026.
The tracked catalog spans 8.4K targets — from ¥500 prize figures to the KAWS Companion 4ft Statue (2007) priced at $125,000 on the secondary market. Of those, 3.2K have at least one validated sold transaction on file, with data collection running continuously since Q4 2025 across 5 sources. The estimated catalog value of $9299.8M is computed as per-target production estimate × current median sold price.
Universe Distribution
Which franchises dominate the tracked market by estimated catalog value.
Dragon Ball and One Piece dominate by raw catalog size, but the distribution tells a more nuanced story: Art Toys punches above its weight on per-unit value (avg $650+), while prize-figure heavy universes like Demon Slayer carry volume but compress the average well below $100.

The Crown Jewel
The single most valuable figure in our tracked catalog.

The top-ranked grail illustrates a recurring pattern in the collector market: the highest-value items sit at the intersection of extreme scarcity, cultural significance, and a secondary market that has fully separated from original retail price. These are not anomalies — they are the ceiling that pulls everything below them upward.
Product Line Intelligence
Cross-universe ranking of the most premium and most dominant figure lines.
Premium lines (left) show which product lines command the highest per-figure prices — these are the specialist collector targets with real scarcity. Volume lines (right) reveal which series dominate catalog depth — prize figure lines and accessible SHF sub-lines dominate here. The gap between these two rankings is the market structure: a small number of premium lines drive the headline numbers while volume lines generate the transaction activity.
Market Health
Signal vs noise in the current market.
A Market Health Index above 60 indicates more gainers than losers, sufficient recent transaction volume, and a stable median price. The current index reflects the balance between premium segments (strong, new highs in KAWS and Myth Cloth EX) and the mass prize-figure segment (flat to declining as Banpresto production remains high).
Methodology
Price data sourced from real sold transactions scraped from eBay, Yahoo Auctions JP, Mandarake, AmiAmi, and MercadoLibre. Data collection began Q4 2025; all historical records are retained. Current price metrics (avg, health index, gainers/losers) use a rolling 90-day window for relevance — the full history is used for trend analysis. Each transaction is validated by a hybrid XGBoost + LLM pipeline before insertion. Production estimates are research-backed per target (official print runs, community records, market observation). Data refreshed daily. Snapshot: July 2026.
